AS A 501(C)(3) YOUR DONATIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE
Donate To Nā Kamali'i Hoaloha
Your contribution to our organization is more than just a monetary donation.
Our mission is to provide a preschool experience that best serves the children, their families, the staff and the community.
We rely on income from tuition, and any additional funding helps to close the gap between what families can afford to pay for quality early childhood education and the actual cost.
Your contribution will go into an unrestricted fund unless you request otherwise (e.g. tuition assistance to families or professional development for staff). The staff, the board, and current and future families of Nā Kamaliʻi Hoaloha greatly appreciate your support.

Community led Field Trips

Nā Kamali'i Hoaloha Keiki on a huaka'i to Pu'u O Hoku ranch on the far east end of the island. MEO bus wasn't available to transport, thankfully Molokai Outdoors was able to trasnport keiki in their 15 passenger van. This huaka'i was made possible through donations received.

Nā Kamali'i Hoaloha Keiki on a huaka'i to Ka Honua Momona INTL fishpond. We were able to pick Mai'a (bananas) and learn about the wonderful work they do to sustain our community and ancestral knowledge of the pond and ahupua'a. The MEO Bus transport and pizza lunch was made possible through donations received.

We foster a dispostion of learning by allowing the keiki to explore their environment and materials the best way they know how which is through play! Keiki here are exploring water through various materials which will provide insight into how they function and enhance their play.

Our digger is a bit hit and we use it in various spaces around our outdoor play space. This digger and the replacement/upkeep of our materials are made possible through generous donations.

Our director was able to network on Maui with other Molokai Early Childhood advocates and get training on kindergarten readiness while also learning about ECE funding gaps and how to mitigate them.

Our Teachers were able to attend the NAEYC Conference in June 2022 and represent our small island on a national scale. Although we haven't been able to attend since then, our goal is to send 2 members of our teaching team yearly, or as often as contributions will allow.

Tuition Support for Families

Our families are the heart of the work that we do as they are the keikis' first teachers. While tuition supports our administrative costs, your tax deductible donation helps to close the gap between what a quality preschool costs and what parents can afford to pay.
